This option is a part 2 of the full 12 hour paediatric qualification.
Before you can commence Part 2, you must make sure you have completed the online 6 hour part 1 training.

This online Paediatric first aid course is our classroom element of the full 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Level 3 qualification. Taking half your Paediatric First Aid course online saves you a day in the classroom, whilst gaining the same qualification.
This course offers an excellent alternative for those who are simply unable to spare the time to attend 2 days in a classroom. Our Paediatric courses meet the latest learning outcomes laid down by the Awarding Organisations.

Key Points
Unit 1(Part1 - online)
Understand the role and responsibilities of the paediatric first aider
Be able to provide first aid for an infant and a child who are unresponsive
Be able to provide first aid for an infant and a child who are choking
Be able to provide first aid to an infant or a child with external bleeding
Know how to provide first aid to an infant or a child who is suffering from shock
Know how to provide first aid to an infant or a child with bites, stings, minor injuries
Unit 2 / (Part 2 - Classroom)
Be able to administer first aid to an infant or a child with suspected injuries to bones, muscles and joints
Be able to provide first aid to an infant or a child with suspected head and spinal injuries
Know how to provide first aid to an infant or a child with an acute medical condition or sudden illness.
Know how to provide first aid to an infant and a child who is experiencing extremes of body temperature.
Know how to provide first aid to an infant or a child who has sustained an electric shock
Know how to administer first aid to an infant or a child with burns or scalds
Know how to administer first aid to an infant or a child with suspected poisoning
Be able to provide first aid to an infant or child with anaphylaxis
This course (part 1&2) comes with 12.0 hrs of CPD.
