Stress is defined as “the negative effects of life pressure and events.” According to the HSE, “work-related stress develops because a person is unable to cope with the demands being placed on them.”

 

This training will give you the knowledge you need to ensure that you can manage personal stress, as well as the stresses of individuals around you.

 

Managing stress in the workplace is not only a benefit to employees but also reduces time off work and improves efficiency. By identifying stress triggers, action can be taken to reduce the stress caused by these triggers, or prevent them altogether.

This course helps you to identify what stress is and what causes stress in the workplace. It will give you an awareness of what stress can do to you and your body. It will also explain how understanding stress will give you an awareness of the increased quality of life you can achieve from reducing your stress levels. You will also be able to identify various stress-reducing techniques.

You will receive 8 months of access to the videos, a 3-year certificate and 2 hours certified CPD credits.
