Pet First Aid for Pet Professionals Level 3 (VTQ)

Pet first aid is the provision of initial care and medical assistance to injured or unwell pets. It involves recognising and responding to emergencies, performing basic medical procedures, and stabilizing pets until professional veterinary help can be obtained.

 

Pet first aid knowledge is valuable for pet owners to ensure the well-being and safety of their furry companions in times of medical emergencies.

Three Shelties

Our Pet First Aid for Pet Professionals course has been designed to give the pet professional much more information in order to be able to detect early when something is wrong and give the appropriate care. 

Our training covers much more details about the different injuries and illnesses that can affect dogs and cats. It is aimed to meet the level 3 pet first aid requirements for pet professionals laid down by the latest government and council guidance.

You will also learn about the anatomy and physiology of animals and the different first aid treatments that are available.
